Last week we watched our friends' farmhouse. They had sheep, a lama, a donkey, some dogs, a cat, and ten puppies. I really wanted to do it and assured Daniel that there wouldn't be that much work involved...needless to say he ended up doing all of it, including hearding some escapee sheep and dealing with a lamb being born, and a sick sheep dying. We still had a lot of fun.
I'm 36 weeks today and I think we're as ready as we can be for the birth. I can't believe that it could actually happen in as soon as a week...probably not, but you never know! We've got all our baby stuff ready and yesterday I finished the last of my baking and cooking and freezing lots of nutritious, "breastmilk-friendly" meals. I've still been really hungry lately with our little baby packing on a half pound a week. I'd give my right arm for an everything bagel with creamcheese, locks, tomato and onion, but the one place I've found them at just closed down. Some ben and jerry's chocolate fudge brownie ice cream would go well with that too. :) I have been eating very well during this pregnancy and walking a lot but the cravings are just a fact right now. oh well...Anyways, here are some pics from the weekend.
